The Kashf Initiative in collaboration with the Transnational & Global History Seminar (TGHS), the oldest student-led history forum at University of Oxford, fosters interdisciplinary discussions by bringing together early-career scholars and graduate students working on global and transnational history, presents one day online workshop on Global Corssroads: Reimagining History, Identity and Power across cultures.
The workshop, scheduled for March 29, 2025, was conceived as an opportunity for early-career researchers whose work could not be accommodated in the main TGHS seminar. It aims to ensure broader participation and engagement with emerging scholarship in global history. The event will offer presenters tailored feedback to refine their arguments, strengthen methodologies, and enhance their academic contributions.
Dr Ankur Barua, from the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge, will deliver the keynote lecture on Exploring Hindu-Muslim Relations in the Longue Durée of South Asia.
